“This one is a bit of a weird one” says Holly; but someone found a giant squid eye on the beach in Florida and Holly of “holloughby” wanted to try and duplicate it and I think she did a pretty good job. Holly said “it’s really funny looking and interesting. You could make scary ones for Halloween in red and black with blood shot bits stitched on”! Blurgh! Eyeballs! I think it is cool and her Halloween eyeball is a great idea.

It was discovered by a man having a walk and is the same size as a grapefruit.
Scientists are baffled by the eye and have sent it to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Research Institute to be examined. No one knows what species it has come from but possible candidates include a giant squid, a whale or some type of large fish.
