Easy, No-Sew Mail and Play Mailbox tutorial

April 6, 2013 by Linda Lanese

mailbox

This easy, no-sew project is great for kids who love snail mail and wait for the mailman every day.  Rachael of “Nothing if Not Intentional” along with her husband Nate designed and created this sweet mailbox for their children.  They are the parents of two little girls and live in the Midwest.  Rachael said she could not conceive of how to make the mail but Nate did and together they came up with the Mailbox and the letters.  What a cute project for a rainy day and all you need is their tutorial, cardboard and felt.  Like “Nothing if Not Intentional” on Facebook and enjoy all their creations.  Be sure to read their story “The Story of “Nothing if Not Intentional”!

Thanks SO much for sharing our project! Our family has had a ton of fun making and playing with this mail set. An added bonus I hadn’t considered–it’s our daughter’s first introduction to sight words! She is learning to “read” (memorize) the names of family members that we printed on the address labels. So fun! Again, thanks for sharing! 🙂 ~Rachael
