Dramatic Felt Pillow Tutorials

August 20, 2013 by Linda Lanese

Persia Lou

Now that the summer is ending and the children are back in school many of us are thinking of the coming of the fall season and making our homes cozy for the long winter. An easy way to bring the changing seasons into our decor is through swapping out of our lighter summer throws and pillows and bringing in deeper colors and hues.  Today I am introducing you to Alexis with her variety of beautiful pillows she has made from felt. She is offering us some lovely pictorial tutorials for several of the pillows.  Simply change the colors that she uses to suit your taste.  Alexis, is a work-at-home mother and lifelong crafter. One summer, when she was about nine or ten, her great grandmother taught her to crochet. She enjoyed making a few small projects and then quickly forgot everything. A few years ago she was wandering the aisles of her local craft store, and she decided to pick up a crochet book. Since then, she has been hooked! Her blog “Persia Lou” started as a place to share crochet projects, but has grown to include other craft and home decor projects as well. 1. Felt Lattice Pillow 2. Felt Ruffle Pillow 3. Felt Circles Pillow 4. Felt Eyelet Pillow!  Thanks Alexis for sharing your spectacular pillow tutorials with us.  Like “Persia Lou” on Facebook and let her know you found her on Craft Gossip Felting.
