Felt Bat-Filled Front Door DIY

August 27, 2013 by Linda Lanese

batdoor

How scary is this front door for fright night (Halloween)?  I think this is a fun idea for Trick or Treat.  This idea is from “Country Living” and they did not offer a template so I will hook one up (Bat Template) form “At Home with Meg Stone!” Thanks Meg.  These felt bats are easy to make and ensure your house looks extra spooky. All you need to do is trace a bat shape onto a piece of felt and cut it out. Repeat until you have a swarm of them.

There is a template on the country living website, it is on page one of the Halloween crafts page you posted. The page you posted is page 20, so you do have to go back a few and it is a fold over template (you fold and cut both sides at once). I thought I would let you know! Great site by the way, love it!
