Halloween Felt “The Misfortune Cookie” DIY’s

October 30, 2013 by Linda Lanese

Misfortune Cookie DIYcookies

I saw “The Misfortune Cookie” made with black paper and can’t find it on the web directed from Pinterest.  So I decided to made my own and found some fortunes on “those3chicks” credited “Lyndsay Jenkinson” where she has a paper “The Misfortune Cookie DIY”.  I looked for felt ones and Martha has ones for Valentine’s Day and I sort of did hers; but not being as anal as she I used chenille stems in black instead of floral tape and ribbon.  I think these are a hoot.  Here are some more misfortunes from Lyndsay and I thank her so much and her cookie DIY and Martha for the felt ones.

Misfortunes from Lyndsay:

You will meet a tall dark male…with pointed teeth

You will have a haunted Halloween witch ever way you turn

Tis now the very witching time of night. Beware.

Where there is no imagination there is no horror.

Tis the night of graves delight.

To suffering there is a limit; to fearing, none

Double, double toil and trouble; fire burn and cauldron bubble
