Valentine’s Day Felt Wreath and Pillows tutorials

January 3, 2014 by Linda Lanese

Valentines Day Felt WreathValentine pillows

Kimberly of “Serendipity Refined”! She has many stunning Valentine projects for us to try.  First is her “Valentine’s Day Felt Wreath” and these sweet “Valentine pillows” out of felt and they brightened up any room.   The pillows above are a combination of hand stitching and machine stitching but there’s absolutely no reason that they could not have been done entirely by hand or using hot glue and/or spray adhesive. She decided to stitch hers since she hopes to use them for a couple of years. She downloaded the pattern for the Cherub and made up the rest of the patterns as she went along. Really lovely projects and thanks for sharing Kimberly!

Hi Linda, Thanks so much for your sweet words! I LOVE working with felt. It’s inexpensive and super easy to work with! You’re correct about using fabric glue or even hot glue for felt projects. I’ve done both successfully. The wreath is a super easy project and has made a great Valentine gift for girlfriends and even a teacher or two!
