Ugly Christmas Sweater Ornaments

November 19, 2014 by Linda Lanese

Ugly Christmas Sweater Ornaments

Peg lives in Hudson, OH, and hosts her blog called “Raging Wool”! Pegs says recycling wool and cashmere is only the latest in a long line of obsessions that keep her sane. Peg needed another project for her ornament party.  She goes to Pinterest for ideas and loved the cute miniature sweater ornaments.  She has a bin of ivory wool from old sweaters.  Coming up with a pattern was super easy.  She just drew a little sweater on cardstock and cut it out. She also made a little hanger jig.  This is just a hunk of scrap 2X4 that she found in the workshop.  I would never call these ” Ugly Christmas SweatersOrnaments” because they are darling.  Thanks Peg for sharing your obsessions with us, love them! Thanks for referencing my blog! I’m glad you liked the project. After my ornament party, I’ll post some pictures of what my guests come up with.
