Needle felting Tigers for the New Year!

It’s a new year and as you probably know this year is the year of the Tiger!  So why not create something to represent that for yourself or a friend this year?

If you’ve been needle felting for a while you may still not have made a tiger before, I have probably only ever made one myself in 20 years of felting!  Stripes aren’t super easy but here’s a few basic video tutorials for making some cute tigers which I’m sure you can achieve great results from!

How about a realistic piece of art?  This is less of a tutorial and more of a time lapse but it certainly still helps you learn how to create something like this amazing tiger!

 

And Living Felt give you an overview of working a realistic tiger over a wire armature.  This video gives you tips and tricks on making long hair and how to create the shades of colour/blending fibres which is awesome to learn.
