The Needle Felted Fruit Collection!

May 2, 2022 by Liza Adams

I love how popular it is these days to have felted food for our children to play with in their kitchens.  Gone are the days of the throw away plastic foods that ended up crushed and chewed on.  Not only can we make them all sorts of things but they can make them along with us.

I feel that if children have a hand in creating the play item they have more respect for it and will treat it with care in their play time, so it doesn’t just end up in the sandpit or pulled to pieces.

These great little projects from Mypoppet.com.au give you the step by step for all 3 of her fruit items.  Initially done as a series I have compiled them here for you in one easy space!

So to make the little pear click on the photo below!

To make this gorgeous little Kiwifruit (my favourite as I live in New Zealand where we are all called Kiwis!) click on the picture below!

And to make the sweet little strawberries click on this photo!

I’m sure you will love creating these three and set off in search of more fun foods like donuts, cakes, vegetables, and more.  Once you start looking you will be amazed by all the pizza, bacon and eggs, swiss cheese and more that is out there!

Happy Felting!
