I located Patty’s ETSY shop via a blog site called “M Stetson on Design” where they feature some outstanding artists, not just felting but arts of all kinds.  To quote them “waging a war on crime through the superb observation of quality materials, stringent standards for typography implementation, lifelong trade-like craftsmanship and just plain good ideas”.  Check out this dazzling blog if you are at all interested in superb craftsmanship.  They featured Patty Benson’s felting art and this is where the article begins. Papaver Vert’s founder and artist, Patty Benson has always been a designer of sorts. From making Barbie clothes at the age of 6 (but always forgetting to leave an opening for Barbie to get into) to painting and drawing her way through school, she has always known from a young age that she wanted to create and to share these creations. Her multi-faceted background in home store merchandising and fashion design has led her to where she is today; creating a natural and modern line of hand felted decorative pillows and accessories for the home. Her art is remarkable and charming and I feel you should do yourself a favor, and take a look at her shop on ETSY!
