GIVEAWAY! a set of 15 circular knitting needles , by eknittingneedles.com

May 1, 2009 by Linda Lanese

This is a real treat for my readers! Josh, of eknittingneedles.com is offering a complete set of their circular knitting needles. There are 15 gorgeous bamboo needles running from size US 0 through size US 15. I ordered a set and I am so pleased with the pricing and quality. They also sell double pointed bamboo needles in any size you need. I purchased a set of size 15 for a hat I am doing. This is a chance of a lifetime to have every size needle you need at your fingertips.

Eknittingneedles.com not only sells knitting needles but also beautiful bamboo crochet hooks in a large variety of sizes.  Bamboo is my needle of choice, because the yarns do not slip and they become better and better with age when it builds up that wonderful patina that comes from use. Handling something as natural as bamboo just feels good in your fingers. Just think of all the gorgeous knitted felts you can make with these wonderful knitting needles.

When I spoke to Josh today he said the 16 inch circulars were going fast and if these are what you’re looking for there would likely be a bit of a wait until he replenished the stock. He has the 16″ circular needles on order. In the meantime, he has all the others in stock. He also mentions that the Tunisian Crochet hooks are flying out of their online shop.

In the near future, Josh informed me that they are going to be carrying organic knitting yarns and when that happens I will certainly be doing another article about their new yarns.  Besides this wonderful giveaway Josh is offering everyone here a 10% discount at checkout you would enter: felting854

I thank Josh of eknittingneedles.com for his amazing generosity.  An added bonus is that you get free shipping on orders over $15 and what could be better than this!  They also accept PayPal and credit cards and they also take checks and money orders.

For this giveaway, go over to eknittingneedles.com and check out the needles that they carry at eknittingneedles.com merchandise and then come bak here and in the comment area type “and mention what you like about their products” and “enter me” YOU must enter here not at eknittingneedles.com! .  This giveaway will run from May 1st through May 14th good luck and knit-felt on!

What I love about the bamboo needles is that they don’t get cold. We keep our house pretty cool in the winter, and my needles get so cold that I have trouble knitting. It’s like they just suck the heat out of my hands. The bamboo, though, don’t hold the cold the same way. I’d love to have full sets of the knitting and crochet needles. Looks like I need to rearrange my budget *laughs*.

These needles look really good, and a great value as well. I love that they are sold as singles or in a full set. Enter me, hopefully I’ll win. I’ll be making a purchase anyway, either way.

What I like about the products at eKnittingNeedles.com are the bamboo circular needles in smaller sizes. Not only is bamboo green (it is an easily renewable resource), but the needles are very economically priced. I was impressed with all the needles offered, straight, dpn and crochet hooks.

Please enter me in the contest. I need smaller sized circular needles in order to start working on my second set of socks. I’ve been unemployed for two years now and I’m trying to make the most of my time off by learning new things to do.

    Thank you!

I just bought a set of Tunisian and crochet hooks from them today. I like the prices of their hooks and needles also. I tought myself to knit a few years ago and have been wanting a set of circular needles to try out.I think bamboo is great to craft with and everyone should have a pair to try along wioth aluminum so they can compare. If i wil that would be great but if not i will still buy a set some day n the future. You never know unless you give it a try. “Enter me.”

What’s not to like about that website?

I love that the cab;es on the circular needles look soft and flexible – not at all stiff and difficult to work with. I love that they offer full sets of dpns for awesome prices.

I love working with bamboo needles but have always found them to be so expensive. I love what is on offer from this site and next time I need needles I know where I’m gonna get them! The thing I love most though is the range of sizes of the tunisian crochet hooks. This is something that I’ve started doing relatively recently but it seems like nowhere sells larger hooks. I’m really glad that I can get them here. “Enter Me”

I have ordered a set of the 16inch circular needles and could not believe the price. I would like another set for our knitting group called the knit-wits. Everything we knit is donated to charity. One lady has knit and donated 560 premie sets. We knit for the homeless, military and cancer patients. This would be so nice to have. Thanks so much.

Also, it is almost impossible to find afghan hooks locally. It is great that I can order both from the same supplier

I have been knitting and crocheting since I was 9 years old, and yes, those steel hooks and needles I still have and use all the time. Over the years the prices jumped from 10 cents for hooks and 19 cents for needles ( my mothers’), to the ones today which can be very costly, which i try not to buy. LOL !. I love bamboo, so very smooth and easy on the hands and the yarns and threads.
Love these and hope I can win !

Those are great prices for bamboo knitting needles. I already have a few knitting needlels but with those prices, you’re paying less to get a whole set that just a few sizes from a store. I’m a beginner knitter and would like to have a complete set of needles so I don’t have to keep going to some stores to get a right size needle for a new project. Please enter me into the sweepstake. Thank you.

This is a lovely site and a terrific offer from someone with a generous heart! It’s wonderful that the prices are lower than everywhere else. I would love to win the set of circulars, as I only have some homemade ones made of dowels and I couldn’t get many sizes that were a match to real knitting needle sizes. It would be a blessing to have every size and be able to make any pattern in the gauge that I need it to be. Thanks for the chance to win such a beautiful offering! Have a lovely day!

I received a gift certificate from my best friend but can’t get it to work on this site. They will not answer the phone or return my messages or email. I am really angry about this. I don’t care if they have one person working there they should honor their customers. No knitting needle is worth this much trouble.
