Needle Felting Basics, a Tutorial

July 19, 2011 by Linda Lanese

You have got to take a trip over to Cintia’s, “My Poppet blog”, not just for this needle felting tutorial but for all the fun things she writes about and creates.  I love the way her blog looks and is laid out. Cintia has had her creations in many publications and online blogs so take a cyber trip over and tell her you found her on Craft Gossip Felting. Some of you may be curious as to how she makes her needle felted products in her shop Poppet in the Post, so she put together a very basic guide to getting started for those of you that may want to give it a try or just as a little insight.  She lives in AUSTRALIA and spends her days wrangling one very active little girl named Emma, the rest of the time, she whines about the house being a big mess…She prefers to blog, sew, craft and go Op-shopping over dish washing and ironing. She not a Stepford Wife nor are many of us crafters, so we can appreciate what she is about.  Her blog is a story about the things she enjoys in her life: making things for her shop, being a mum, Emma, crafting, collecting and being thrifty… but she admits not always in that order.  You’ll also find tutorials and a regular Animation Friday feature. She loves getting comments so don’t be shy. Thanks Cintia for sharing your craft and life with us.
