Rolled Wool Pin Cushions Tutorial

June 24, 2012 by Linda Lanese

Becky hosts “patchwork posse” and would love us to sew along with her.   She starting sewing at age 8 and her first official quilt was finished in 1997 and she still loves sewing.   Becky has four children to inspire her designs. The tutorial Becky is sharing today is a watermelon and a tree trunk pincushion made from felted wool sweaters.  Becky tells us that these are SUPER EASY and take like 15 minutes to whip up. Why not get over and visits Becky and roll a bunch of pincushions with her.  Thanks Becky for sharing your talent.

Looking for more pin cushion patterns? Check out these quilting patterns on Etsy.

Sewing Pincushions are also called Emery Bag as they contain Emery powder and oxide iron that removes rust from pins and needles. Emery pinch cushions can be bought here.
