Heart’felt’ Valentine’s Day Crafts

January 14, 2013 by Linda Lanese

valpinvalpin2

Sisters, Heather who lives in (Kentucky) and Vanessa who lives in the (Pacific Northwest) co-host “At the Picket Fence”! This is their way of sharing their lives events living so far apart.  The girls have created a wonderful blog and you will want to discover all the stories they have to share.  Today they are sharing their guest contributors Julie’s “Heart’felt’ Valentine’s Day Crafts” with us. To kick off the valentine season (which in Julie’s house begins the day the Christmas decorations come down) she created a few simple embellishments.  She is a sucker for all things red, pink, heart shaped or sparkly and with an assembly time of less than 10 minutes, what’s not to love?  A footnote, Julie’s hubby asked her to marry him on Valentine’s Day.  If you think you have to sew all sequins on you don’t.  Coat heart with Jewel-It embellishing glue and cover liberally with sequins, pressing gently into glue.  What little, teen or big girl would not adore these sweet embellishments for Valentine’s Day. Thanks ladies for sharing your darling Valentine craft.
