Valentine heart wreath from repurposed coats tutorial

January 15, 2013 by Linda Lanese

hw

Laura hosts her blog “Ms. Smartie Pants” (is her husband’s name for her) out of Texas.  She is an ardent dumpster diver and loves repurposing used items into new and lovely useable objects.  I love this valentine wreath that she up cycled from a Goodwill red wool coat.  All you have to do is cut a square and punch a hole for the sturdy wire and you too have a charming inviting heart Valentine wreath for your door or as a gift. Laura scored another great find for $1.50; a Ralph Lauren coat for the flowers on her wreath.  She has complete pictorial tutorials for both the wreath and the flowers.  Like “Ms. Smartie Pants” on Facebook and see what amazing project she comes up with next.
