Moss Rocks Felt Mushroom Spring Wreath Tutorial

April 11, 2013 by Linda Lanese

moss-mushroom wreath

Sharon from “Craft ‘n Coffee” has this darling wreath tutorial for spring and you will want to make it. First, build a wreath using Moss Rocks from the dollar store (I have bought bags at our Dollar Tree) and a wreath ring of STYROFOAM Brand Foam. Then, follow the tutorial to make felted mushrooms using wool roving and foam shapes. Wine cork stems are a finishing touch. Nestle the mushrooms in your Moss Rock Wreath and you’ll have a delightful spring wreath.  This is such a stunning intro to spring to hang on your door welcoming your visitors.  Thanks Sharon you come up with the most amazing ideas.

Thank you, Linda. I do love the moss rocks, and the wreath isn’t hard to construct. This wreath was a team effort — I made the Moss Rock Wreath and Rebekah Meier felted the mushrooms. So glad you like it! Sharon

You are so welcome, I love it and the first time I bought the moss rocks they were very costly and when I saw them in Dollar Tree I bought several bags 🙂
