What wool to use for Needle Felting! Lincolnshire Fenn shares!

June 13, 2022 by Liza Adams

I think you will love the download that is shared on todays page.  Lincolnshire Fenn has been around for quite some time and you have probably already checked out a number of their tutorials or watched their great videos on YouTube.

Here on the blog we have shared their free tutorials a number of times and this one is something a bit different.

The lovely folks at Lincolnshire Fenn have shared a very comprehensive booklet that you can download and keep for yourself on your own computer.  This booklet tells you all about fibres and techniques for needle felting.  They cover the use of core wool, wrapping and the best fibre for your top layers.  They even talk about ethical and sustainable wool.

On the last few pages (there are 23) you will find a table with all the fibres you can think of listed there, and a brief idea of how each one needle felts or whether it is useful for needle felting at all.

I think it’s awesome that they are sharing this resource with us all and you will find all sorts of gems on the website if you stick around and check it all out.

To find the download check out this page and once you have read a few paragraphs the link is right there.  You can also join the facebook support group! 🙂

Happy felting!
